The Guapará is a Remote-Control Weapon Station (RCWS) that allows the operation of a machine gun remotely through its camera system, which allows the operator to aim at the target and fire in a sheltered manner.
It was developed for military boats, being stabilized on the azimuth and elevation axes to maintain the stability of the firing line, that is, once aimed, it locks onto the target until it reaches its mechanical limit.
This RCWS can be customized for other applications, be they ground vehicles or even helicopters.
The Guapará works with the rifle in two firing modes: automatic (burst) and semi-automatic, stabilizes the movement of the weapon in two axes, the search for the target is carried out by the operator, and has a command panel. Made in partnership with CLC.
